Founding member of The Specials, of one of the best-loved bands of all time, and a musical hero for anyone (with any taste). Decades of record collecting and all-consuming devotion to music ensure that dj set is an amazing insight into the influences and passions of one of the key figures in music in the UK and beyond since the late 1970s.
Terry's solo work after The Specials' split has never been less than eclectic, ranging from Fun Boy Three, Colourfield and collaborations with Gorillaz, Bananarama, Dub Pistols and forays into world music with Mushtaq.
The Specials recently announced a UK tour to coincide with their 30th anniversary.
At present, the tour is scheduled to draw to a close with a home town performance at Coventry's Ricoh Arena on May 15th.
Speaking about the tour, Terry says the band would play tracks exclusively from their past because the music and lyrics "still applies today".
"Climates have changed slightly but we're still faced with this huge recession, unemployment and racism. It still exists and that's what we dealt with first time round" he added.
