Charlotte Hatherley has had an extensive career in music. Aged sweet 17 she joined Irish rockers Ash, her guitars adding beef to their heavy schedule of live performances. For the best part of 9 years she spent most of her life on the road, the only girl in a testosterone and alcohol fuelled tour bus, and recorded three studio albums with the boys. In 2006 Charlotte and Ash parted ways and she went on to set up her own record label 'Little Sister Records', embracing the independent sector of the industry. She has released two critically- acclaimed solo albums, now the third is ready to be unleashed to the world in 2009.

Adding to her frenzied schedule Charlotte has been playing guitar with Mr Roxy music Bryan Ferry, as well as DJ-ing wherever the hell she can!

She has dj'ed at loads of Britpop clubs so has every massive tune you could think of. Playing recent indie epics, Kings Of Leon, Glasvegas, Killers, Klaxons, Cribs, Arctic Monkeys, Kaisers, Kasabian, Arcade Fire, Strokes, QOTSA and also loadsa new tunes from MGMT, Black Kids, Hercules and Love affair, The Presets, Santogold, Hot Chip, Ting Tings, Fleet Foxes, Mystery Jets, Be Your Own Pet, Florence and the machine, Vampire Weekend, Blood Red Shoes, Foals......and can happily bang out a set of electro consisting of Crystal Castles, Holy Fuck, CSS, New Young Pony Club, Autocratz, LCD Soundsystem, Von Sudenfed, Death From Above, Vitalic. If things are looking retro she has an extensive collection of Bowie, Roxy, Iggy, T-rex, Television, Blondie, Pretenders, Elvis Costello, Eurythmics, Talking Heads, Eno, Kinks, Jam, Clash, Ramones etc and is not afraid of shameless quality pop a la Gwen Stefani!
