Feeling Gloomy
Feeling Gloomy is probably one of the world's most famous club nights. Its been reported on from Poland, to Belgium, to Ecuador, not to mention major features in the likes of the Guardian, The Times, Daily Mirror and on Radio 1 plus far too many other bits to mention.
Running for nearly six years in London the club is now also exporting the Gloom to New York and Berlin! Feeling Gloomy have played at nearly every major UK festival and even been asked to film a pilot for MTV.
As you may see this is no bog standard indie night or dull Britpop do. Feeling Gloomy is sad music to make you happy! Few mix up the genres as much as the gloom and few still with have you dancing so hard tears of joys fall on to your sore little feet. Feeling Gloomy will take you from The Smiths and The Cure, to Joy Division, via Dolly Parton, Elvis and Bruce Springsteen, back to Blur and The Killers.
Guests at Feeling Gloomy have included Suede's Brett Anderson, Pulp's Jarvis Cocker and UK indie film legend Paddy Considine.
Join Len and Cliff, DJ Grim Reaper, Sullen Sean and the UK's only indie air guitar band, 'The Miserablists', as they break out the cheese and pickle sarnies and sweet tea and sympathy.
