Martin Carr
Most famed for constructing the elegant pop indie of The Boo Radleys (and, no, not just that one).
After their split in 1999, he was signed to the influential Wichita label as he delved into electronic jiggery-pokery with Brave Captain. Six albums followed.
Carr retains an indelible pop sense and song craftsmanship. More news soon about a new project and a new tour! |

Calm Of Zero (ex ECHOBELLY)
Sonya Madan and Glenn Johansson (formerly of echobelly) return with their brand new project calm of zero
Biography
CALM OF ZERO formed in 2010 from the ashes of previous incarnation ECHOBELLY, whose frontwoman, Sonya Aurora Madan and guitarist, Glenn Johansson have continued to write songs together.
After the maelstrom years of Britpop and their ensuing success as ECHOBELLY, a series of experiences ensued that rock'n'roll would call its own, including death, drugs, theft and high court injunctions...
Glenn and Sonya came through the storm to a time of reflection, re-positioning and reality: Where to go from here when the desire to write songs is stronger than ever but the business has changed considerably? Back to what you once knew:
Write those songs and perform them.

Nigel Clark
Over Dodgy's six-year rise to fame they released three albums and 12 Top 40 singles, including 3 Top 10s and the Top 5 hit 'Good Enough', still a staple of the Radio 2 playlist. Nigel Clark is available for acoustic sets solo and with Dodgy (full line-up) |

Dodgy
The definitive line up of Nigel Clark, Andy Miller and Mathew Priest is back.........
The first time round, Dodgy were only together for seven years but in that time they sold over a million records worldwide, released three albums and 12 Top 40 singles, including 3 Top 10s and the Top 5 hit Good Enough, still a staple of the Radio 2 playlist; sold out the Brixton Academy for three nights in a row and were awarded an unprecedented 90-minute Saturday evening slot on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury Festival in 1997 just before Radiohead. Not bad, considering that they also partied harder than an Ewok.
As anyone who has seen them so far this year will tell you, the Mighty Dodgy Vibe is back and stronger than ever. |

Matt Berry
Matt walked out of the London Dungeon and straight onto the small screen as Dr Lucien Sanchez in Channel 4's Garth Marenghi's Darkplace.
He then joined the Mighty Boosh team as Dixon Bainbridge the evil Zoo owner, where he met a certain Rich Fulcher. Just before Christmas 2004, Matt and old Darkplace pal Richard Ayoade wrote the rock opera AD/BC for the BBC.
(Matt wrote and produced the musical score).
Matt must have caught the attention of Vic and Bob, because they asked him to feature in their sketch show Monkey Trousers for ITV. It was there that he met Steve Coogan, who in turn asked him to contribute musically to his new sitcom Saxondale.
It was at this time that Matt with Rich Fulcher were commissioned to write a six-episode sketch show for BBC THREE. Matt and Rich scratched their heads, spat on the floor and tossed off 'Comedy Bronze', which was eventually
renamed Snuff Box.
Currently promoting great new album WITCHAZEL and filming a new series of IT CROWD for Channel 4. |

Danny Mahon
Danny Mahon is the antithesis of traditional folk music. No gentle, mellow tunes evoking images of English country charm, Danny is full, in yer face, punk played acoustically. The lyrics are explicit reflections of inner city life - not always comfortable on the ears. The music is a full rip roaring sound, not surprising given the musicians who helped out giving a 'full band sound'.
His double A side single 'Beat Me Up/AK47', self released on Piccadilly Records boasts an array of local musicians including Rick Lees (Twisted Wheel), Ben Taylor (Vagner Love), Johnny Winbolt - Lewis (Keith) and Tom Peek (Kid British). |

Alex Hulme
Alex is a 20 year old singer/songwriter from the North West signed to indie label ‘Cityscape Records’. Mixing his use of unusual tunings inspired from artists such as Nick Drake, Fionn Regan and Foy Vance, Alex melds pop-tinged vocal melodies with rich folk guitar. Most notable for his use of on the spot live multi-layer looping of both his guitar and vocals, Alex arranges his vocal harmonies and guitar parts in a succinct and natural fashion to complement his beautiful alt-folk-pop songs.
